A typical Myanmar Zat Pwe is a classical dance-drama.It usually begins with the candlelight dance, followed by different types of dance,Myanmar opera, and slapstick comedy.This is followed by the classical dance-drama, which presents one of the jataka tales (the 550stories of Lord Buddha’s earlier lives). It imparts moral lessons.
